Mr. Balikuddembe is a PhD candidate in Disaster Management and Public Health at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran and holds a Master of International Relations and Diplomatic Studies from Makerere University, Uganda.
Mr. Balikuddembe currently works as a Researcher in Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarianism at the East African Centre for Disaster Health and Humanitarian Research in Uganda. Prior to this, Mr. Balikuddembe held a number of research and editorial positions, complemented by his professional experience as a Country Field Coordinator at Informatici Senza Frontiere and as an Instructor at the Catholic University of South Sudan. His main areas of expertise include: disaster risk management, disaster risk reduction, public health, humanitarianism, emergency and road safety. Mr. Balikuddembe authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed articles on these subjects.
