Researcher and Consultant in Environmental Science and Social Adaptation Projects, Spain
Ms. López-Fanjul holds a Master Degree in Engineering and Sustainable Management of the Environment and a second Master in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability (specialization in Global Change).
She currently works as a Researcher and Consultant in Environmental Science and Social Adaptation. Prior to this, Ms. López-Fanjul was building her professional experience in Spain and abroad (Portugal, Germany and India), where she worked for both private and public sectors including the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, United Nations University or the Spanish Refugee Aid Commission, to list a few.
Ms. López-Fanjul areas of expertise and research include climate change adaptation, migration and gender approach. In her research she examined how women resilience is further undermined due to cross-border displacement because of natural hazards
